Panos Apostolou, real estate agent of INVESTA Real Estate - Larisa real estate agency, has studied and presents us the 5 movie characters who deal with real estate on the small and big screen!
1: Phil Dunfy (Ty Burrell) Modern Family
Perhaps the most beloved real estate agent to ever cross our screens. Married to Claire and father of three children, he struggles to keep up with the age of social media and the internet, in order to feel close even to his six-year-old son Luke and of course to constantly develop professionally.
2: Evelyn Harper (Holland Taylor) Two and a half men
The mother that Charlie Sheen's character loved to hate on the show. She comes across as a cool, professional real estate agent, always dressed in the US real estate blazer, willing to go above and beyond for a new assignment and ready to vigorously represent any buyer.
3: Carolyn Benham (Annette Bening) American beauty
The character with the most stereotypical elements we've seen in cinema. A dynamic woman, who tries to balance between family and career, who wants at all costs to close deals with the ultimate goal of social advancement. The film won five Oscars and is one of the few times we encounter concepts like 'house staging' and 'open house'.
4: Peter Klaven (Paul Rudd) I love you man
Peter is a successful real estate consultant in Los Angeles. Everything seems perfect when he gets engaged to his girlfriend. Then he realizes that he has no friends to share his happiness with. After several failed attempts to socialize, the solution comes at an open house, where she meets an investor with whom she ends up becoming close friends.
5: Chuck Mitchell (John C. McGinley) Are we done yet?
A more comical figure in this film, Chuck is a broker and at the same time many more... Plumber, carpenter, electrician, 'handyman' in general. After finding the house of his dreams in a family, he ends up making their lives hell, since the dream house in the suburbs has the world's problems which he hid during the buying and selling. And of course the solution to all these problems is their friendly neighbor Chuck..!
