By Nikos Skoufas – Real Estate Consultant INVESTA Real Estate
One of the most important things that happened to me when I started this wonderful professional journey with Thanasis Stamou, Zozi Vergou and all of you, is that for the first time I let myself go.
For the first time I accepted to be informed about something I did not know.
For the first time I was listening more than I was saying.
And as you know I am a person who talks a lot.
The fact that I was very focused on education helped me tremendously in getting the information needed to jump right into the application process. From the first day I resolutely entered the process of updating my new status. I made sure the whole town knew who I was and what my job was now. This happened because I felt very safe from my own office who provided me with all the organization, support and service from start to finish. So I went in deep and didn't know. But I knew I had my team, I had my office and I had nothing to fear.
Clear note. If I were to start over today, I would absolutely apply our basic training to my everyday life. With persistence and organization, with constant messages, phone calls and business cards.
The first months in this career are difficult. They combine training with application together and at the same time strengthening the culture that we must transmit as a family, as a team, as an office as INVESTA Real Estate. I believe very much in teamwork, in the selfless relationship between colleagues, something that sounds utopian, but in my own soul it is completely realistic.
I hope to this day I am a role model.
Success is determined by what role you want to have in life itself. I chose to define my future, my income, my professional and social career.
My advice for newcomers to our profession is twofold.
First, no matter what happens in your life, no matter what happens in your daily life, never miss your working eight hours.
Be consistent with yourself at least 1/3 of the day. Concentrated with your phones, with your contacts, with your information and organization, with your extroversion.
It is your moral obligation to do so. Against yourself and your family.
Secondly. Get the best of everyone.
Since I was little, I did imitations. Any singer I liked I would take certain characteristics of his voice and frame them in mine. So I established my own style by taking things from great artists.
The result was that I was always in very good jobs.
This is what I would advise young people, this is what I did here.
The leadership personality and absolute consistency of Thanasis.
Zozi's eagle eye, her busy schedule for the day, the sense of success before it even comes.
Nadia's absolute focus on the goal and her discipline.
Peter's simplicity, experience and detailed knowledge.
The sense of familiarity, participation and sharing of ideas of Panos.
May the flame of a new person be recognized as is Dionysia and her teamwork.
If you can combine all these elements and channel them perfectly into your personality and the eight hours that await you every day, then you are doomed to succeed.
And we are happy to have Happiness as well as Life supporting us at every step.
Lock the habit.
Lock in success.
Lock down the culture.
Together we can do more!
Long live INVESTA Real Estate!
