My first year in real estate!

In Real Estate, as in any profession, the successful start is the result of many factors. Every day you learn the secrets of the profession through the successful people you interact with.

In the middle of 2020 and just before the second COVID-19 lockdown I made the decision and started my career in real estate. I joined the Investa Real Estate team and was trained by Thanasis Stamou. The will of quick success at the start was abruptly put on the brakes by the containment of the pandemic. Anxiety overwhelmed me which we quickly eliminated through the collective and organized work done in person and remotely in our company.

At the beginning of your career you want to ask about everything, to learn everything. You are afraid on the first date how you will stand and whether what you have learned in training works in real conditions. Anxiety about what will be the customer's next question. All this works in parallel with the illusion you have, thinking that from the beginning you will have immediate results and liquidation of your labors.

In the first year in real estate you are called to become the expert of public relations. To communicate with everyone around you about your new status, acquaintances and strangers who come through your first appointments. At the same time you have to learn to psychologize the people around you. You are called to manage their property, to trust you since you won them through your presentation. And it's time to prove it in actions, through the services you committed to provide.

In the provision of real estate services, each case is a project. And like all projects they have a start date, penetration process, a project delivery, and an end date. You are the professional who orchestrates each work separately. You are the one who is called upon to make decisions, evaluate candidates, clear up situations, manage financial matters as well as negotiate.

Many times a lack of experience leads to mistakes. Also, the fact that we have managed once to do it correctly does not mean that the same procedure will be repeated in the very next case. And that's where you need the right guidance from your office, asking and learning a lot to improve each different process. In this way you gain daily the trust of your customers and the respect of your interlocutors. And that's the main way to reach even more people, increase your phone calls, and win even more appointments and assignments.

Our enthusiasm, our dynamism, our will and our positive attitude must never be lost. They are the ones that appear in our eyes every time a prospective customer looks at us. That's where it sets us apart. The strong stomach is what is not seen externally and it is certain that we will need it on the uphill road of success, in a profession that we chose to distinguish. The top is our only goal.

To the two people of INVESTA Real Estate – Real Estate Larissa, Thanasis Stamou and Zozi Vergou, I recognize their daily perseverance to improve our team and upgrade to the maximum the conditions prevailing in the field of Real Estate. They have a different mindset and a distinct rationale on slavery. I thank them for their daily support and guidance in the profession we serve. I also thank my colleagues who are always willing to show me and advise me wherever I need them. We are a unified team, a separate family. It is with great pleasure that we will welcome to this family anyone who wants to make the change in his career and to be professionally and very organized in the field of Real Estate.
