Yiannis Makrygiannis was born and raised in the city of Larissa.

He is a graduate of the computer science department of the University of Lincoln, United Kingdom.

He comes from the banking sector as for 16 years he has been active in the customer service department initially at Bank of Cyprus and later at Piraeus Bank.

He holds experience in sales as well as in negotiations due to his many years of presence in the banking sector.
