Shrove Monday is approaching and surely most of you wish to taste the delicious taste of roasted round bread, which traditionally hears the name lagana! But how would you be heard if, apart from tasting it, you made it yourself?
The team of INVESTA Real Estate – Real Estate Larissa, proposes you an easy recipe for homemade lagana with only five ingredients!
Materials you will need:
1 kg of all-purpose flour
2 sachets of yeast (dry)
1 and 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar (whichever you prefer)
4 tablespoons of olive oil
Sesame seeds for sprinkling
Recipe execution:
Place in a bowl a little lukewarm water, (be careful, the water should not be hot, because it will weaken the action of yeast). Then mix the sugar, salt, yeast and 2 tablespoons of flour.
Set the bowl aside for half an hour.
At the same time, in a small bowl put the rest of the ingredients (beyond the sesame seeds). Then pour the yeast mixture you had set aside and start kneading.
Observe the texture of your mixture and if it needs you can add slowly lukewarm water. When the dough comes off easily from the wall of the basin then it is ready and at this point you do not need to pour any more water.
Divide your dough into two round mixtures (two balls), place parchment paper in a baking pan and with the help of a rolling pin give the appropriate shape to your laganas.
Cover for 30 minutes.
Pierce the laganas with a fork, then sprinkle them with a little water so that the sesame seeds you will pour stick.
Finally, bake for half an hour at 200 degrees, and they are ready to enjoy!
